Suggested Activity
Mt Fuji, Hakone & Lake Ashi Cruise with Bullet Train Day Trip from Tokyo
Join a full-day guided tour from Tokyo that travels to Mt Fuji, then continues to nearby Lake Ashi and the Mt Komagatake Ropeway, includes coach out from Tokyo and a Shinkansen Bullet Train trip back.

Taste of Tokyo Food Festival (Nov 25-27): This is a recently added festival to the Tokyo food scene. Taking place in Odaiba, there will be approximately 50 vendors serving up tasty treats (both savory and sweet) from Tokyo and other prefectures in Japan, along with some international options as well. Cheapos will be happy to know that most dishes will ring in at 500 yen or less.

Myanmar Festival (Nov 26-27): Experience a bit of Myanmarese culture at this festival at Zojoji Temple. The festival will feature Myanmarese food, a Myanmar market and a live music and performance stage.

Fiesta de España (Nov 26-27): More good news for foodies! This two-day event will give you a chance to sample Spanish food, wine, art and entertainment at Yoyogi Park’s event square. The festival celebrates over 400 years of exchange between Japan and Spain.

Design Festa – Fall Edition (Nov 26-27): One of the biggest art events in the world is coming back to Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba this weekend. If you pre-purchase a ticket for 800 yen, you’ll be able to feast your eyes on over 10,000 creative exhibitions. That’s cheaper than most exhibitions at the National Art Center in Roppongi, and the ambiance will be less stuffy too. See our video of the summer edition of Design Festa below:

Doburoku Matsuri (Nov 28):  The Doburoku Matsuri in Nihonbashi on Monday is an annual festival celebrating crude, home-brewed sake. Taking place at Koami Shrine, visitors will be offered free sake and can enjoy Shinto performances around lunchtime.
