Sekino Boroichi Market (Dec 9-10): This evening-time winter market is a great spot to peruse stalls, pick up antique souvenirs or just grab some toasty festival food on a chilly night.

Farmers and Kids Festa (Dec 10-11): This event at Hibiya Park lets parents pass that tricky “Where does food come from?” question onto real farmers, who will hold educational seminars on agriculture for kids. In addition, there will be food available to eat and various farm animals to befriend.

Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks (Dec 10): See a grand fireworks show every Saturday night throughout December. The fireworks will go off between Odaiba and the Rainbow Bridge from 19:00-19:10. Makes for a good date night!

National Museum of Western Art – Free Admission Day (Dec 10): This Saturday, check out the extensive collection at the Museum of Western Art in Ueno Park—an activity that which would normally cost you 430 yen.
