Chichibu Yomatsuri
See one of Japan’s biggest nighttime float parades dazzle the Chichibu area. The event takes place around the traditional 2,000-year-old Chichibu Shrine and boasts a rare chance to see fireworks in the colder months

Chromosphere
Chromosphere is the joint exhibition of Canadian artist Sabrina Ratté and Japanese artist Yoshi Sodeoka. It features a series of abstract and illusory videos made by the pair that challenge the major issues of visual media.

Sekino Boroichi Market
This evening winter market is a great spot to peruse stalls, pick up antique souvenirs or just grab some toasty festival food on a chilly night. This market boasts over 300 stalls and over 80,000 visitors.

Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks
See a grand fireworks show every Saturday night throughout December. The fireworks will go off between Odaiba and the Rainbow Bridge from 7 pm to 7:10 pm.
Tokyo Christmas Market
A Christmas market to beat all Christmas markets in Tokyo. Sample some festive fare—German-style sausage and stews to name a few—and peruse the booths selling decor, gifts and winter gear. Once you’ve wandered through the stalls, grab a hot drink and watch the choir to round out those Christmas feels.
