Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine Wind Chime Festival
The Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine Enmusubi Wind Chime Festival is an annual summer festival taking place in Saitama. The shrine has associations with fortune-bringing clouds, and you’ll be glad to stumble across one. There will also be wind chimes for sale, so you can take a piece of the event home with you.
Isao Takahata Exhibition

Oku Asakusa Bon Odori Festival
A fairly new event, this odori matsuri (dance festival) is held to celebrate the area of Oku Asakusa. Festival goers will dance in a circle around a special lantern-laden scaffold called a yagura.
Kodo Performance: Everlasting
Traditional taiko meets innovative beats at the Kodo Performance: Everlasting. Kodo is a group that specializes in using traditional taiko drums to create modern music. Each show is an intense 100 minutes of taiko drum beats as the group guides you through a story.
