If you’re looking for affordable traditional Japanese accommodation (tatami mats, futon, wooden floors), this is the place for you. Toilets and showers are shared-use facilities, like a hostel. Also, there’s a coin laundry and an open-air terrace.

Another benefit is that the facilities are completely smoke free – still a rarity in Japan.
