Kanda is a conveniently located neighborhood to the north of the Tokyo Station area. Kanda Station is just one stop from Tokyo Station on the JR Chuo Line. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the anime/otaku mecca of Akihabara.

Even though the neighborhood has been somewhat gentrified, it still has a bit of the grit of yesteryear with ramen joints and izakaya aplenty. The used book area around Jimbocho makes for some fascinating browsing with some shops stocking beautiful leather bound vintage tomes from the late 19th and early 20th century. Of course they’re in Japanese, but you can’t help admiring the typesetting and the wonderful aromas.

Beside the Chuo Line, there are five more lines criss-crossing the neighbourhood, so getting to all parts of Tokyo is not a challenge.

Other attractions nearby include the Ginza shopping precinct, the Imperial Palace, Kitanomaru Park and Tsukiji Market.

The hotel has been recently renovated and has both double and twin rooms.
