Google’s April fool contribution this year is the Pokemon Challenge to find their new Pokémon Master!
And it starts our favorite city Tokyo.
Has anyone found them yet? Comment below with any more locations you may have discovered.
How to find the Pokemon in Tokyo?
By going round in an outward spiral starting at Roppongi Hills, the Tokyo Cheapo team was able to find the first 10 Pokemon pretty easily. They seem to be located around some class locations in Minato-ku and Shibuya-ku, like Shibakoen, Kamiyacho and Ebisu.
Of interest is the last Pokemon we found so far – Lucario. This blue little chap is located in the “Silicon Valley” area in Shibuya, which happens to be a few meters away from the Mt Gox offices. As well as information about the location of the rest of the wild pokemon in Tokyo, perhaps Lucario has some insight as to the true identity of Bitcoin inventer Nakamoto Satoshi…
