Tokyo events for Monday, April 7 to Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Cherry blossoms are out, and the new, hottest spring flowers are in — wisteria, azaleas, and nemophila — see the festivals starting this week below.

Take a day trip to Kamakura to see an ancient procession, watch two top Tokyo universities race on the river, or head to Yoyogi Park for a gathering of cute doggies.

Toneri Park Nemophila Illumination

Broaden your floral horizons and go beyond cherry blossoms. Spring unfolds in shades of blue at Toneri Park. The endless waves of these tiny flowers create a sense of serenity that’s hard to match.
