Holi is one of the most important festivals in the Hindu calendar. It is popularly known as the “Festival of Colors” and is a major festival across the world.
Ark Hills Cherry Blossom Festival
If you want to stroll down a cherry blossom-lined street without big crowds, then head to Spain-zaka near Ark Hills. While there aren’t really any places to put down a mat for a picnic, the area is great for an evening stroll.

Punkspring brings back the ultimate hit of music nostalgia. There are a plethora of big names on the bill: Iggy Pop, Bad Religion, The Cro-Magnons, Sex Pistols ft. Frank Carter, Yellowcard, and Pennywise, to name a few.
Koganei Cherry Blossom Festival
For a hanami (flower-viewing) experience that is a little less crowded, try Koganei Park. Koganei is known for highlighting musical artists during their festivals and the sakura season is no different with a wide range of singers performing on a special stage within the park.
Mushrooms vs Robots (Presented by TokyoDex)
Mushrooms vs Robots hosts 17 artists from around Japan who use a mix of styles and mediums. The art for this exhibition has all been made exclusively with the theme in mind: the tension between nature and technology.
Shibuya Sakura Stage Cherry Blossom Festival
Come and celebrate cherry blossom season in the heart of the city. From March 28 to April 4 (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.), all the cherry blossom trees along Sakurazaka Hill in Shibuya will be illuminated with a gorgeous pink color and pink lanterns will glow.
Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival
Held in and around Kitanomaru Park and Chidorigafuchi Moat with its fabulous cherry trees, the Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the most popular in Tokyo. The main show — the blossoming cherry blossoms — is best seen over a specific period (March 28 to April 8).
Tokyo Tower 333 Carp Streamers
Tokyo Tower’s annual koinobori (carp, or koi fish, streamers) event sees over three hundred fishes flapping in the wind for Children’s Day. Exactly 333 colorful carp streamers will be hung around the iconic Tokyo Tower, making for vivid and eye-catching photos.
Yomiuri Giants Baseball Game at Tokyo Dome
Things heat up inside Tokyo Dome as the Yomiuri Giants are up to bat on their home turf. Baseball games in Japan are an experience in themselves, no matter who you’re watching.
