What if Nostradamus’ prophecy came true, and the world really did end in 1999? Tokyo’s Roppongi Museum invites you to step into a chilling alternate history.
What to expect

This immersive exhibition conjures the dread and delirium of a world teetering on the brink. Expect a sensory plunge through ominous spaces, unsettling visuals, and soundscapes that drag you into an end-times panic.
Visitors follow the path of the “Apocalypse Girl”, an original character brought to eerie life by celebrated illustrator Mai Yoneyama.
Schedule
Exhibition hours will extend to 8 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and during the Obon period (from August 8 to 17).
Tickets
Standard tickets are priced at ¥2,500 for adults and ¥2,000 for junior high to university students. A special package ticket is available for ¥4,900, which includes a limited-edition tote bag and one of five randomly selected bookmarks, available while supplies last. Purchase tickets online.
