One of the larger flea markets in Tokyo, this one lives up to its name with around 800 (!) stalls.
What to expect
You can find everything here, including, possibly, a kitchen sink. There are organic vegetables, crafts, secondhand clothes, toys, antiques and much more. It’s in Chofu, which is a little way out of Tokyo central, but can be made into a day trip.
Tickets and entry
There’s a small entrance fee of approximately ¥300, but even if you buy just one item, we reckon it’s worth it. If you want to beat the crowds, you can pay a higher fee (around ¥1,000) to get in at 8 a.m., two hours before the official opening time.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Add to Calendar
