Catch a free 30-minute geisha dance performance in the lobby of The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.
What to expect
Geisha are traditional performers trained in the art of traditional Japanese music and dance, and conversation. Usually, geisha only perform at exclusive venues or during annual showcases.
In this rare event, two geisha from the Akasaka district will perform traditional Japanese dance in the hotel’s 3rd-floor main lobby. The performance lasts about 30 minutes and is open to anyone, so you do not need to book a private geisha experience or make a restaurant reservation. After the show, you can take photos with the performers.

Performances take place on Friday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 22 from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
How to get there
From Shinjuku Station, take the Marunouchi Line to Kokkai-gijidōmae Station and walk around 7 minutes to the venue. The entire journey takes around 20 minutes.
