Ark Hills leans into its musical heritage for this year’s festivities.

What happens?

The neighborhood’s identity is shaped by Suntory Hall, one of Japan’s leading classical music venues, and the central plaza, Karajan Place, is named after conductor Herbert von Karajan.

So, fittingly, the Christmas tree is a real fir decorated with ornaments shaped like musical notes and instruments, many of which are made from thinned wood (the smaller or overcrowded trees that are removed to let the remaining trees grow stronger and healthier).

Suggested Activity
Challenge Sumo Wrestlers and Enjoy Lunch
Eat, train, and fight like a real Japanese sumo wrestler during this sumo demonstration and authentic 'Chanko Nabe' (hotpot) meal.
