Ginza Sony Park is preparing for its upcoming opening with a unique art project. Check out ART IN THE PARK (Under Construction) for designs from three big Tokyo names.
What to expect
Ginza Sony Park is undergoing reconstruction for its grand opening in January 2025. It will transform the area where the Sony Building once stood. As part of this opening, they will host the “ART IN THE PARK (Under Construction)” Project.
This exhibition will feature works from three artists closely associated with Ginza Sony Park: Shun Sudo, Koji Yamaguchi, and Takuro Tamayama.
ART IN THE PARK (Under Construction) will showcase a mix of their iconic art. See 24 new pieces of Shun Sudo’s iconic Button Flower, 12 new flower-themed works by Koji Yamaguchi, and an original light installation by Takuro Tamayama using LED fluorescent lights.
