What to expect
After huge success with previous events in Tokyo and Osaka, Beatink will be bringing its listening space concept to Miyashita Park in Shibuya this weekend. The concept combines high-quality audio gear, vinyl sales, and discussion panels exploring the current state of soundtracks and art.
Schedule
The first day’s discussion panel will start at 7:30 p.m. and feature DJs Soundtrack Brothers discussing the music of Daniel Lopatin, also known as Oneohtrix Point Never (OPN), who produced the soundtrack for Marty Supreme
The second day’s panel will also start at 7:30 p.m. and feature Wakabayashi Kei of Kokuchosha Publishing discussing the artistic philosophy of legendary artist and producer Brian Eno.
