Join the WeLearn community on a walk around Shiba Park while taking in the cherry blossoms this spring.
What to expect
Spring has just about sprung in Tokyo, and after months of cold weather, the city is coming alive with festivals, outdoor fun, and, of course, cherry blossoms.
Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) is one of the best parts about spring in Japan, and Shiba Park is a local favorite hanami hotspot. As you explore the park, enjoy the flowers and food stalls, as well as casual conversation in English and Japanese with the WeLearn staff and community. You don’t have to be a member or previous participant — newcomers are welcome, so feel free to join.
Schedule
Attendees and staff will meet at Toei Mita Line Shibakoen Station – Exit A4 (outside the Exit A4 gate). Organizers will be waiting with a sign.
From there, everyone will walk over to Shiba Park and enjoy the stroll together.
After the walk, feel free to head back to WeLearn 80s Cafe in Akihabara to relax and hang out with a coffee.
