Come by for a night of music, food, and good fun with a Chilean twist at the Chilean & Japanese Modern Folk Night in Shibuya.
What to expect
Listen to Chilean and Japanese folk music, with a lineup of live bands and a DJ to get you in the mood to move. If you feel peckish, Renegade Kitchen will be serving Chilean-inspired dishes and drinks to keep the music (and your stomach!) company.
Lineup
Up first, the Ensamble Transatlántico de Folk Chileno, a 15-person group, will be strumming some of their Chilean classics. There will also be Coderanny, a group that specializes in traditional instruments and minyo, a style of Japanese folk singing. Last but not least, Santa Dharma, a husband-and-wife duo, will take to the stage to showcase their unique blend of synth-pop.
Keeping tempo on the night will be DJ Tequila Ayana, with some good vibes to keep you going.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the door for ¥2,500. However, they’re cheaper in advance here, at ¥2,000. Whichever way you go, though, your ticket is good for entry and one free drink.
