Citta’ Summer Event 2020: “Night Out”

Kawasaki’s La Cittadella shopping complex is holding its annual summertime event. This year’s theme is “Night Out”, where guests can join a chilled-out alfresco dining experience.

This food-fronted event is split into two areas:

  • The “Restaurants Terrace Area” on Cinecitta’ Street and Club Citta’ Street. Guests will be seated on a restaurant patio.
  • The “Takeout Terrace Area”, where diners can enjoy a takeout meal from one of the local restaurants in the open air.
  • There will be a total of 330 seats outdoors.

    Restaurants Terrace Area

Hours: 4 pm to 10 pm
    Seating time: Maximum 2 hours
Seating charge: 1,000 yen per table for 2 people
    Age requirement: 20+

    Takeout Terrace Area

Hours: 4 pm to 10 pm
Seating time: Maximum 1.5 hours within one of the time slots below:

    • 4 pm to 5:30 pm
    • 6 pm to 7:30pm
    • 8 pm to 9:30 pm

    Age requirement: 20+
Seating charge: 1,000 yen per table for 2 people (including 1 drink per person)

Reservations are required for both the Restaurant Terrace and Takeout Terrace.

For the Restaurant Terrace, you must make a reservation with the restaurant of your choice directly. See the list of participating restaurants (note: Kebab King and Lara Caruso are takeout-only restaurants). Inform the restaurant that you are participating in the “Night Out” event when making a reservation.

For the Takeout Terrace, you can make reservation using this link (in Japanese, but Google Translate can help).

    • Only guests with terrace reservations will receive a free mask case. (Guests without reservations who are seated indoors are not eligible.)
    • If you wear a yukata (light summer kimono), you can get a special offer at the restaurants (such as a 10% discount, a free soft drink, etc.). The offer may vary at each restaurant.

    Safety measures

This year, La Cittadella is holding an outdoors-only event. Guests can enjoy food and drinks on the well-ventilated, open-air terraces. Seat will be arranged so that diners are not facing each other.

To control crowding, event-goers are required to make a reservation for the restaurant terrace dining area in advance, and are limited to a stay of 1.5 to 2 hours.

Seats will be thoroughly disinfected after each customer.

La Cittadella kindly asks alll guests to cooperate with the health and safety measures, which include wearing a face mask.
