Who doesn’t love Gyoza? Meaty, juicy parcels of goodness. Sample from the very best of Japan’s dumplings — be they steamed, fried, boiled, or grilled — at this year’s Craft Gyoza Festival in Komazawa Olympic Park Central Square.
What happens?
There will be a range of gyoza on offer from several stalls. Entry is free, but everything else is around ¥700. You can choose from a range of flavors and ingredients, including wasabi, cheese, green onion, shrimp, walnuts with coriander, and more.
Tickets
Lines do get crazy (see photos), so it is worth it to reserve tickets in advance. This combo food ticket costs ¥4,000 and gets you five meals (¥700 each) and one fast ticket, which lets you skip to the front of the line.
For fancier guests, there is also a Craft Gyoza Lounge where you can reserve a seat and enjoy your dumplings with ease. Tables cost ¥6,000 and can only be reserved through the festival’s Line account. Food and drink are not included.
Note: There are also venues in Osaka and Hiroshima.
