Dragon Ball Genkidama Festival

To close out Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary year, the Dragon Ball Genkidama Festival is taking over Makuhari Messe for one day only. This is the franchise’s biggest gathering of the year.

What to expect

The main stage will host major first-look announcements about the future of Dragon Ball, with Masako Nozawa (the voice of Goku) appearing alongside executive producer Akio Iyoku.

Expect new project reveals and a special live performance by Hironobu Kageyama, the voice behind classic series themes.

You can also try out the latest games, including Sparking! ZERO, mobile titles like Dokkan Battle and Legends, and a special Fusion World card game tournament.

New figures, Gashapon runs, and exclusive 40th-anniversary merchandise will also be on display and available for purchase.

Tickets

Tickets will be distributed using a lottery system. Applications for the second lottery end on November 30 at 11:59 p.m.

There are four optional tickets you can apply for after winning admission to the event:

• Stage Seat Ticket: This lets you sit for one stage program (Part 1, Part 2, or the evening live show). Standing areas are available for everyone, but may be restricted if crowded. You can only apply for stages that start after your designated event entry time.
• Merchandise Area Priority Ticket: This gives you priority entry to the goods area between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. There are three timed blocks, and you can only apply for blocks that match your entry time. Anyone who doesn’t win can enter freely after 3 p.m.
• Ichiban Kuji Priority Ticket: This lets you enter the Ichiban Kuji area with priority between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Free entry opens after 3 p.m.
• Figure Purchase Reservation Ticket: If you want to buy the special event figures, you must apply in advance. Only lottery winners can buy the figure(s) they selected, and non-winners cannot purchase them at all. You can choose one figure or combinations of Goku (two versions) and Vegeta.
