Free Finance & Global Careers Masterclass in Shinjuku

Head to Shinjuku for a night of inspiring ideas and networking at this masterclass led by Joe Cherian, CEO of the Asia School of Business.

What to expect

The ASB × iRoots Tokyo Masterclass “Finance & Global Careers” is a collaboration between the Asia School of Business (ASB) and En Japan Inc. / iRoots. The event is led by Professor Joseph Cherian, President and Dean of the Asia School of Business, who will hold a session (in English) exploring how finance powers Asia’s green transition, and what sustainable leadership means in a changing world.

Next up, ICF-certified career and leadership coach Reina Shishikura will lead a bilingual (Japanese–English) session on “Designing Your Global Career,” sharing hands-on strategies for creating an authentic, fulfilling career that transcends borders.

Finally, Sota Yamazaki, event host and Head of Business Development at En Japan Inc. / iroots, will share in Japanese how iroots can support your career development, followed by a networking session with food and light refreshments.

Schedule

• 6:30–6:35 p.m.: Welcome remarks from Sota Yamazaki
• 6:35–7:15 p.m.: Professor Joseph Cherian’s presentation on building sustainable careers for Asia’s future
• 7:15–7:45 p.m.: Sota Yamazaki’s presentation on lessons in leadership and lifelong learning
• 7:45–8:00 p.m.: Reina Shishikura’s presentation on building future-ready talent
• 8:00–8:30 p.m.: Networking session — Light refreshments, informal consultations, and connections among students, ASB reps, and employers.

The event will be held at in the iRoots Seminar Room at En Japan Inc. on the 35th floor of Shinjuku Island Tower, 6 Chome−5−1, Nishishinjuku. The building is a 3-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station or a 12-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.
