If the Frieren anime adaptation was an early Christmas present last September, here’s a late one. Head to the Frieren Pop-Up Café and enjoy some themed snacks and drinks with the party.
What to expect
The Freiren Pop-Up Café offers main dishes, desserts, and drinks inspired by the anime. Try Himmel’s favorite Ruff Omelette prepared as a risotto, or Frieren’s birthday pancakes! Each dish comes with a mini postcard showcasing a scene from the anime for you to take home. On top of the food, the café also sells limited edition merch — badges, stickers, and mugs among them.

You can choose between reserving a spot or walking in and waiting. Since this café is likely to be popular, we recommend reserving a spot to be sure you’re not waiting too long. Reservations cost ¥660 per person, but each guest receives a special art card with their meal.
How to get there
The Freiren Pop-Up Café is held in Tokyo Solamachi’s BOX Cafe and Space, at the base of Tokyo Skytree. The easiest way to get to Skytree is by taking the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and getting off at Oshiage Station. From there, it’s a quick 1-minute walk to Tokyo Solamachi.
