Relax with a coffee in Akihabara and learn some origami skills along the way at this origami event at WeLearn 80s Cafe.
What to expect
During the event, you’ll try your hand at some of your favorite origami designs and have a chance to practise speaking Japanese as well if you feel like it.
The event will run all day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you can join at any time. You’re also welcome to just use the language café space freely during your visit. Come alone or bring your friends; everyone is welcome, regardless of your prior origami prowess.
Entry
Class participation is ¥1,000 (plus one drink) for non-members or just the drink fee (from ¥200) for members.
Members enjoy free access to all events and lessons, no café charge, a 7-day free trial, and the option to cancel at any time. You can sign up via the official website.
