What to expect

Startup Lady has launched the Go Global Hub, a platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and companies from Japan and abroad to connect, collaborate, and drive innovation.

As part of this initiative, the first global connector salon will take place on November 10, where international and Japanese entrepreneurs, corporates, and VCs will share their business ideas and create opportunities for business collaboration.

The event aims to foster opportunities for co-creation to develop into practical cooperation through mini-pitches and discussions. The event will also feature a three-minute pitch session open to interested parties. Speakers will briefly introduce their company’s initiatives, aiming to collaborate with international investors and entrepreneurs.

Here’s the format of the event:

  • 6:30 p.m. Event starts
  • 6:35 p.m. Panel discussion
  • 7:20 p.m. Three-minute pitch and free exchange
  • 8:20 p.m. Event wrap up
  • 8:30 p.m. Networking (finger food and drinks)
  • 9:30 p.m. End

Please prepare your pitch materials and laptop, and be ready to deliver your pitch in three minutes. Please also bring two business cards and hand them over at the reception. Non-pitching participants are also welcome!

The event will be held at Playground, the Plug and Play Japan office in Dogenzaka, Shibuya, a roughly 8-minute walk from Shibuya Station.
