Come and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Japan’s cutest character, Hello Kitty, at this special pop-up café. From September 13 to October 27, you can try some sweet Hello Kitty-themed food and shop limited merchandise.
What to expect
Cuteness overload. The menu has a red theme, just like Hello Kitty’s bow. Notable dishes include a two-tiered afternoon tea (say that twice), a pancake plate that has Hello Kitty’s face on it, and savory items like sandwiches and pasta.
You can also get your hands on merchandise such as keyrings, tote bags, and badges, all of which have an exclusive 50th-anniversary design on them.
Entry
To eat at this café, it is best to reserve a slot in advance on the official website. There is a reservation charge of ¥660, which you will need to pay by credit card. However, if you do book in advance, you will receive a small special gift.
Note that there is a policy that each guest must order at least one food plate, dessert, or drink.
