Japan Soca Weekend is Asia’s largest music festival dedicated to Soca, a type of Caribbean music.
What happens?
The festival includes four main events: Soca Magic, Rum N Bass, J’ouvert in Japan, and Island Nations. It usually takes place in September each year and is attended by many music fans from all over the world. It’s a great place to experience Caribbean culture.
Tickets
You can get one pass starting from ¥35,400 for four events and other goodies (check the official website) or you can buy them seperatly:
- Soca Magic at Club Camelot in Shibuya costs ¥7,000
- Rum N Bass at R3 Club Lounge in Roppongi costs ¥7,000
- J’ouvert in Japan at War Zone in Chiba costs ¥15,000
- Island Nations at Harlem in Shibuya costs ¥14,000
