What to expect

Developing and remembering your Japanese vocabulary is hard, but WeLearn 80s Cafe takes the edge off with pressure-free, easygoing classes. This 90-minute class will run you through some of the most useful words and phrases needed for day-to-day life in Japan, including basic greetings and ordering at a restaurant. You’ll then apply what you’ve learnt in realistic simulations and role plays.

You’ll also get to practice using grammar in short conversations.

The class is delivered at a slow and steady pace, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Organisers will prepare all the materials needed for the class, just bring a pen and paper.

Entry

Class participation is ¥2,000 (including one drink).
