Head to Akihabara for a Japanese movie, coffee, and gamified language learning fun.
What to expect
WeLearn 80s Cafe is putting on a movie day, and you’re invited. The event features a screening of a Japanese Netflix Original movie with English subtitles and a gamified Japanese-language learning experience with bingo.
Throughout the movie, you’ll listen out for specific words, greetings, and expressions, check them off your bingo card as you go to win prizes.
March 28 is also Coffee Day at WeLearn 80s Cafe, so visitors can enjoy half-price coffee throughout the day.
Schedule
Coffee Day will happen all day on March 28 — feel free to hang out at any time.
The movie will start at 2 p.m. and run for around 90 minutes. Be sure to get in early and grab a seat if you want to catch the whole film and play along.
