What to expect
Release an LED lantern into the sky alongside up to 3,500 others. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the release comes at around 8:30 p.m., which leaves plenty of time for the food trucks and the live music on the stage beforehand.
Tickets 2026
In 2026, standard adult tickets cost ¥6,600 and up, depending on the day. However, there’s also an option to purchase a flexible ticket that allows you to change the date, which costs ¥8,400. Corresponding tickets for kids are ¥2,600 and ¥3,600 respectively.
Ticket sales for the 2026 festival have closed, and the 2027 edition has not been announced yet. When it is, tickets go on sale through the official website.
How to get there
The 2026 festival was held on open ground beside Saitama Stadium 2002 Park, in Midori Ward, Saitama City. The venue has moved each year, so check the official site before you plan a trip.
