Catch spectacular fireworks in Kōnosu City.
What happens?
Every autumn, 20,000 fireworks are fired into the night sky in Saitama’s Kōnosu City.
The show is famous for shakudama — massive fireworks that can burst up to 300 meters wide. Kōnosu goes even further with yonshakudama, one of the biggest in Japan and a spectacle that only a couple of festivals nationwide attempt.
Schedule 2025
The fireworks take place on Saturday, October 11. The show begins at 5:30 p.m.
