Kyūshū Fair

Kyūshū can feel a long way off from Tokyo, but for one long weekend, the island comes right to Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park.

What happens?

The Kyūshū Tourism and Products Fair is a four-day celebration of the region’s food, drink, crafts, and culture. There will be steaming bowls of Hakata ramen, skewers of Miyazaki chicken, Fukuoka’s famous mentaiko or spicy cod roe, and enough shōchū varieties to make you wonder if a trip south is overdue (it probably is).

Craft booths will showcase Kyūshū’s distinct local wares, from pottery to textiles.

Schedule 2026

The Kyūshū Tourism and Products Fair will take place at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza (Area B) from Friday, October 9 to Monday, October 12, 2026, finishing on a national holiday. The organizers list hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., closing at 7 p.m. on the final day — though the closing time is still flagged as provisional on the official site.

In previous years the reconstruction support corner has kept slightly shorter hours than the rest of the fair, and we would expect the same again — its 2026 times have not been published yet.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
