Brush up your Japanese language skills and historical knowledge with this special class in Akihabara.
What to expect
During this 90-minute in-person or online class, you learn all about Japanese feudal-era history while improving your Japanese grammar and vocabulary.
Through short samurai- and shogun-themed texts, you’ll get to know historical words and phrases and explore their cultural contexts. Next, you’ll practice conversation with your classmates using what you’ve just learned and share your own thoughts in Japanese.
This class is for those with intermediate-level Japanese skills who want to study Japanese through history and culture and go beyond textbooks. It’s recommended that you have a basic understanding of everyday conversation, grammar, and kanji.
This class can be taken in-person in Akihabara or online. Materials will be prepared by oprganiserrs, just bring a pen and notebook.
