Learn Japanese and get your anime fix at the same time with this fun 90-minute class in Akihabara.

What to expect

During this lesson, you’ll gain practical Japanese vocabulary and grammar by watching an anime scene and practicing along. You’ll do a first watch, then learn the key words and grammar, practice reading the lines, and watch again to cement your understanding. Later, you’ll practically apply the skills you learned and create and share your own sentences.

These classes are recommended for anime fans who want to learn Japanese in a fun way, Japanese learners who want to experience real, natural Japanese beyond textbooks, and intermediate learners seeking to improve their speaking and expression skills. It’s recommended that you have an intermediate grasp of Japanese with an understanding of basic greetings and conversation, and the ability to read hiragana and katakana.
