What to expect
Just under two hours from Tokyo, LuckyFes returns to Hitachi Seaside Park over the August 8–11 long weekend for its biggest edition yet.
The event features a stacked lineup of artists spanning genres and generations from J-pop and J-rock to idol groups and VTubers. Big names on this year’s bill include BABYMETAL, AKB48, MyGO!!!!!, ATARASHII GAKKO!, ILLIT, KANA-BOON, NiziU, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, MAN WITH A MISSION, Dragon Ash, WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA, and many more.
Between sets, explore giant art installations, visit food stalls serving festival favorites and Ibaraki Prefecture specialties, and see fireworks launched over the water each night.

Marking the festival’s fifth anniversary this year, organizers are offering special discounts on 3- and 4-day passes.
One-day ticket:

- ¥7,000 (middle and high school students)
3-day pass (5th anniversary special price)

How to get there
The event will be held at Hitachi Seaside Park. The closest station to the venue is Katsuta Station on the JR Joban Line, which is a roughly 80-minute limited express train or a 2-hour-and-20-minute train from Ueno. Free shuttle buses will be running from Katsuta Station to the venue.
Organizers recommend making sure that you have sufficient funds on your IC card before departing, as Katsuta Station only has one ticket machine and can become crowded.
For those coming by car, you’ll need to purchase a parking ticket in addition to your festival ticket.
