What to expect
Mixtape Paradise is the Jakarta-born Ardhira Putra’s love letter to Japanese pop culture. His work mixes elements from retro media, including video games, TV, and comics, into modern versions. The end results are loud, vivid pieces of geometric art that are both eye-catching and thought-provoking.
You can swing by the gallery anytime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays, as well as Thursday through Sunday. If you’d like to check it out on a Tuesday or Wednesday, you’ll need to reserve in advance.
