One of the most current trends in art is the interplay of tech and nature. AI art. Natural beauty. The tensions between them are on full display at Mushrooms vs Robots.
What to expect
Mushrooms vs Robots hosts 17 artists from around Japan who use a mix of styles and mediums. The art for this exhibition has all been made exclusively with the theme in mind: the tension between nature and technology. Each of the pieces captures the artists’ struggles with the changing landscape.
It’s not just about walking through and watching though. The art will have QR codes you can scan to give opinions and feedback, and you can vote for the official Mushrooms vs Robots logo.
How to get there
The exhibition will be hosted at WHEREVER, a creative space in Roppongi. The easiest way to get there is by catching the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line to Nogizaka Station. From the station, it’s a 2-minute walk to the venue.
