Suggested Activity
Get Tickets To the Crazy Samurai Restaurant in Shinjuku
Experience one of the craziest, most colorful places in Tokyo — the Samurai Restaurant, from the creators of the legendary Robot Restaurant. Get your tickets and sit back for a wild show of lasers, lights, samurai, dancers and other uniquely Japanese weirdness.

How to get there

Seibu Railways offers a handy discount pass for non-Japanese passport holders at ¥700. This pass covers round-trip travel between Seibu Shinjuku Station, Takadanobaba or Ikebukuro Station, and Hon-Kawagoe Station, and includes discounts at some shops in Kawagoe.

It takes around 45 minutes on the Koedo limited-express train (separate seating fee of ¥600 one way), or an hour to an hour and 15 minutes on regular trains.

Naritasan Kawagoe Betsuin is about 15 minutes on foot from Hon-Kawagoe Station, or a 2-minute walk from Kita-in, home to an annual daruma market.
