Anime and manga come alive through cosplay and no one does it better like Japan. Held at Tokyo Dome, the New Layers Paradise Cosplay Festa isn’t as big as other cosplay pop culture events, but it’s one of the classics.
What happens?
New Layers Paradise Cosplay Festival takes place in Tokyo Dome’s Prism Hall and usually pulls in upwards of 3500 attendees. See cosplay from video games to anime — expect a good number of Bleach, One Piece, and Attack on Titan costumes mixed with more modern trends.
For a unique twist, there’s a VR stage for all visitors to use. Record yourself in your own Vocaloid or VR music video and take it home as a unique souvenir.
Tickets 2025
Tickets for the event are priced at ¥6,500 for a two-day pass, ¥3,800 for a single-day ticket, and ¥2,500 for an evening ticket, which allows entry from 4 p.m. onward.
You don’t have to cosplay, but there’s a ¥500 fee for people only taking photos.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Add to Calendar
