Two regular markets are held on the shrine grounds each month.
What happens?
If you’re not coming for a major matsuri or to see the wondrous azaleas, the regular markets at Nezu Shrine are a low-key way to experience the grounds.
The Nezu Morning Market takes place on the first Saturday of most months. It’s a small, community-style market with fresh produce and more.
The Michikusa Handmade Market is usually held on the third Saturday of most months, with occasional date changes. This market focuses on handmade goods, as the name suggests. In September, it is held on the 23rd instead and takes the shape of a larger craft market.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Add to Calendar
