Feel the community spirit at Sagamihara’s Odasaga Road Festival.
What happens?
The Odasaga Road Festival is a community event that celebrates the area’s cultural diversity. The event features numerous stages showcasing local talent, including live music, traditional dance, costume parades, and more. In addition to the main stages, there will also be street parades, local mascots, and food stalls to check out.
It has been going strong since 2014.
Schedule 2026
On October 4, the main procession begins at 11 a.m. from the Community Center to Hiratsuka Shinkin Bank. The Higashirinkan Awa Odori Troupe follows at 1 p.m., with an Eisa performance at 2 p.m. from Sagamidai Post Office. Another group of parade participants sets off from the Community Center at 3 p.m., including local fife and drum corps, the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Dynaboars and costume contest participants.
How to get there
The Odasaga Road Festival is held at various locations around the North Exit of Odakyu Sagamihara Station, including the Racal and Pairnade shopping malls, Southern Road, Sagamidai Community Center, and the Hiratsuka Shinkin Bank parking lot.
