If antique shopping is your thing, this is the big one — billed by its organizers as one of Japan’s largest outdoor antique markets, with around 250 stalls filling the plaza outside Tokyo International Forum. Entry is free.
What happens?
This is a great place to pick up ¥1,000 yukata, kimono, and jimbei, as well as the accessories that go with them, like belts, ties, and bags. You’ll also find ornaments aplenty, tea ceremony bowls and equipment, watches, and various other knick-knacks.
Schedule 2026
The market runs roughly twice a month, but the dates move around — it is not a fixed “first and third Sunday” schedule, so check before you set out. The remaining 2026 dates are September 21 (Monday, a public holiday), October 4 (Sunday), October 31 (Saturday), November 7 (Saturday), November 23 (Monday, a public holiday), December 12 (Saturday) and December 20 (Sunday), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
How to get there
The Oedo Antique Market takes place at the Tokyo International Forum, which is right next to Yurakuchō Station on the JR Yamanote Line. There are coffee shops nearby, if you need a caffeine fix.
Note that the market will be canceled if it rains.
