A contemporary ceramics exhibition showcasing work from two Tokyo-based female artists, Roro and Shanosu.
What to expect
Roro interweaves clays with diverse mineral composition, creating innovative plates that take on varyingly organic, flowing, and geometric — but always striking — patterns.
Shanosu creates vases, bowls, and jugs that subtly explore color and form, reflecting Asian claywork traditions while experimenting with contemporary style and characterization.
During the exhibition, curators can provide explanations of the work and artists in both English and Japanese.
