If you haven’t heard the sad news, the much-loved Pompompurin Café in Takeshita Street recently closed its doors. But we can rejoice that for a few more weeks at least, Tokyo will have a spot for Pompompurin fanatics to gather — at Shibuya’s Miyashita Park.
What to expect
For a limited time only, Pompompurin will get his own pop-up store on the second floor of Miyashita Park. Here, you can purchase special goods like plushies, badges, and t-shirts. But the most exciting part of this collaboration will be the one-of-a-kind dishes taking over the restaurants. The Pompompurin menu will start on May 31, a bit later than the pop-up store, and go through till June 15.
Dying to meet Pompompurin? He’ll be at the Atrium Plaza on May 31 (exact time to be released).
