What to expect
This is your chance to check out Ron Mueck’s hyper-real sculptures up close. Taking place at the Mori Art Museum, this major exhibition traces the career of one of the most influential figurative sculptors working today.
The show presents eleven works spanning early breakthroughs to recent large-scale pieces, including the monumental Mass (2016–2017). Six works are being shown in Japan for the first time, and the inclusion of Angel (1997) makes this an especially rare opportunity. Photographs and films by French photographer and filmmaker Gautier Deblonde showcase Mueck’s meticulous studio process.
