Mori Art Museum’s triennial survey returns this winter.
What happens?
Roppongi Crossing is Mori Art Museum’s big survey of Japanese contemporary art, held once every three years.
Highlights 2025
The 2025 edition, entitled “Roppongi Crossing 2025: Time Passes, We Are Eternal”, looks at the idea of time — how we experience it, measure it, and remember it. Works by 21 artists, including Takuro Kuwata, Junko Oki, and Maya Watanabe, will be on display.
The show also reflects on the role of Japanese art in a global context, with contributions from artists like Kelly Akashi and Carrie Yamaoka.
Schedule 2025
The exhibition runs from December 3, 2025, to March 29, 2026, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Tuesdays until 5 p.m.)
Last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
