Two big brewing names team up to bring some of the best craft beer to Tokyo for the Roppongi Midtown Craft Beer Festival.
What to expect
Shizuoka craft brewery West Coast Brewing has teamed up with AQ Bevolution, a beer importer, and brought 16 of Japan’s best breweries to Tokyo. These breweries can be a rare sight at other events, and many will bring out their “secret beers” — craft creations they usually keep under lock and key. You can nip around the various stalls, enjoying as many cool pints as you can handle in the Golden Week heat. Don’t worry if you get peckish either — there’ll be a fleet of food trucks on hand for some drinking snacks and larger meals too.
Tickets
Entry to the festival is free, but beers must be bought with tickets you can buy from booths around the event. Food and other goodies can be purchased with cash at their respective stalls.
