S2O Japan Songkran Music Festival

12:00pm – 8:45pm
¥15,000 – ¥42,800

The S2O Songkran Music Festival is making a worldwide comeback and Japan is not missing out.

What is Songkran?

Songkran, also known as Thai New Year, traditionally takes place on April 13 each year. The festival is famous the world over for its public water fights and around this date, a massive music event is also held in Bangkok. The event proved so popular that it has since been adopted by many countries around the world — including Japan.

What to expect

Expect to get wet as Odaiba becomes an oasis in the excruciating heat of Tokyo’s summers. Top international and local DJs choose the hottest dance beats and water guns cool down the crowd. S2O Japan Songkran Music Festival does not always take place in April — for 2024 it will be held in August.

Lineup 2024

This year, so far Don Diablo, Madeon, Vini Vici, and Yellow Claw have been announced.

Tickets

There are several types of tickets. The cheapest are the 1-day tickets: ¥15,000 for Early Bird, ¥16,800 for Advance, and ¥17,800 for Regular. 2-day tickets start from ¥28,000. VIP options are available.

All tickets come with a waterproof cellphone case.

The festival is held in Odaiba in the Odaiba Aomi Area R Sector, near Odaiba Central Square and the Gundam Statue. It’s an 11-minute walk from Tokyo Teleport Station or an 8-minute walk from Aomi Station.
