Sake Festival Japan brings together regional sake producers and food vendors in Ueno.

This year’s lineup includes various notable breweries, including two of Tokyo’s own, namely Ishikawa Brewery located in Fussa and Sawanoi Sake Brewery, located in Okutama.
Other names to watch out for include Tsuchida from Gunma Prefecture, Terada Honke and Nabedana from Chiba Prefecture, Miyasaka Brewery from Nagano Prefecture, Yucho Brewery from Nara Prefecture, and Niida Honke from Fukushima Prefecture, among (literally) dozens of others.
There will also be various stage performances.
Tickets
Entry is free, but you’ll need to purchase tickets at the venue in order to sample sake and purchase food and other beverages. Note that popular sake may sell out.
