Sawako Kabuki is known for her provocative and entrancing work. Exploring themes of sexuality, desire, and vulnerability from the female perspective, her art combines humor and honesty for an unfiltered view. Her pieces merge colors with contours that mimic the female body, sowing personal reflections in the midst of light-hearted works.
Schedule
You can see the exhibition without reservations on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. From Tuesday to Thursday, you’ll need a reservation to enter — contact the gallery in advance at contact@pocko.com.
Opening night party
To kick things off, on May 2, there’ll be a one-night-only opening party. Entry is free, and you’re welcome to grab a drink courtesy of the Prosecco DOC Consortium. Spend a night wandering through the gallery, prosecco in hand, for a first look at this stunning exhibit. The party starts at 6 p.m. and goes on until 9 p.m.
