Come and celebrate cherry blossom season in the heart of the city.
What happens?
From March 10 to April 10, all the cherry blossom trees along Sakura Street will be illuminated with a gorgeous pink color and pink lanterns will glow. A picture-perfect scene.
On top of this, various events will be taking place at Shibuya Sakura Stage. Some of the main events include:
- March 10 to March 31: “LovePiano”, a specially painted piano that anyone is welcome to play (Shibuya, 2F Urban Core)
- March 22: Live AI sakura-themed performance by Yoichi Ochiai (Shibuya, 3F Bloom Gate).
- March 22 to March 24: Sakura Book Festival (Shibuya, 3F Bloom Gate)
- March 23: Sakura Spice Festival (Shibuya, 3F Nigiwai Stage)
- March 23: Live performance by artist Taku Nishimura and fashion designer Haruka Hirai (Shibuya, 3F Hagukumi Stage/Nigiwai Stage)
- March 23 to 24: Shibuya Sakura Festival Street Live Presented by Yamanha x Eggs
How to get there
To see the illuminated trees, head to Sakura Street, which is around a 4-minute walk from the west exit of Shibuya Station.
